Olympic Sport Props, Biathlon

For some reason this sport seems noble and rooted in necessity, as opposed to Curling or figure skating. Not that accurately sliding a rock at upwards of 4 miles per hour isn’t a sport but uh…This next part is a serious question that I don’t want to google. Is bowling or darts in the summer Olympics? I mean how desparate for events were they.
Skiing cross country is about the same as running for spectating, O.K. interesting enough, but add to it a weapon… Good to go. Where endurance directly affects their shooting accuracy. And all this at elevation. I don’t think you will see ahtletes any more exhausted than they are after completing this event. I think it roots in Finnish military history still hold a comtemporary trueism for combat conditioning and the ability operate a weapon under physical duress. Respect.
